Samples are burned in a stainless steel oxy-hydrogen burner to determine total sulfur in the 0.1 to 300ppm range of petroleum products. Test viscous, highly aromatic, or high sulfur content samples using appropriate solvents. The combustion chamber and stainless steel burner are housed in an insulated room with a hinged, heat-resistant, glare-proof shield for viewing burner flame. To ignite the flame, depress the electronic spark ignitor handle at the side of the unit. The ignitor shuts off when the handle is released. Built-in pressure regulators with gauges allow for accurately adjusting and monitoring hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen pressure. The burner is easily disassembled for cleaning. Supplied with a complete set of borosilicate glass and quartz glassware, including 200mL sample reservoir, sample capillary, combustion chamber, absorber, spray trap and cooling bulb, and compression-type gas connection fittings for 1⁄4" (6mm) O.D. tubing and housed in a finished aluminum cabinet. Order accessory sample adapter for LPG, natural gas, and refinery gas samples.
